I am trying to convert my OSM to an SDD model to be opened in CBECC-Com. Sketchup keeps crashing (BUG SPLAT) during the conversion, but it seems to only happen after I intersect the entire model, and do surface matching. I am opening the OSM file in sketchup. Maybe I need to download the newer versions of both SketchUp and OpenStudio...

I am using SketchUp 8 and OpenStudios 1.3.4.

Trying running the diagnostic script seen here, and see if the file it saves can be exported without crashing. I don't think the version of SketchUp or OpenStudio is the issue. The intersect is probably doing something bad to the file. If the diagnostic script doesn't work well, you may consider manually or selectively intersecting. You can intersect a selection vs. the entire model.
