How do we use the Zone Ventilation Design Flow object directly (not through the EnergyPlus IDF) in Open Studio?

Under the Space Types tab in the OS App, you can access the OS:DesignSpecification:OutdoorAir object. This object allows you to edit the OA requirements for all the zones that are assigned to that Space Type. Essentially, this builds the ZoneVentilation:DesignFlowRate for each zone with that Space Type.

Is this answer correct?

AFAIK DesignSpecification:OutdoorAir and ZoneVentilation:DesignFlowRate are two different things, the first is only used by air loops to bring outdoor air via mechanical ventilation and the second models natural ventilation via window openings OR mechanical ventilation outside of an air loop (like a fan that is directly mounted in the wall?), depending of the "Ventilation Type" parameter (https://bigladdersoftware.com/epx/doc....

I'm not 100% sure though, can someone please confirm?

I am a bit perplex though because I read from different places that OS:DesignSpecific
