Is there a data migration path from 3.0.1 to 3.1.1 of BEOpt?

NLR team: It seems that the new BEOpt 3.1.1 version is a hard break from previous versions. Is there any way to port over individual measures that were set up in earlier versions, or some kind of HPXML translator? Similarly, can we export HPXML from 3.0.1 and import to 3.1.1? We still will have some users and back-references for it.

Glad to see so many feature enhancements! Looking forward to testing.

Since BEopt v3, the ability to migrate older project data to a newer version is unfortunately no longer supported. The approach that was previously taken w/ BEopt v2 required too much effort to continue to support. I'm hoping to someday find a better approach that will re-enable project migration, but in the meantime, the only option is to recreate the project files.

(Note that there is an HPXML version translator, but that has nothing specifically to do with BEopt. It will just translate an older version of HPXML to a newer version. BEopt cannot import HPXML, it only exports HPXML for purposes of simulation.)
