Can I simulate a 4-pipe chiller to handle both heating and cooling loads in EnergyPlus? If yes, which tool is best for this

Hi Adrian, there are a couple of objects you can consider. ChillerHeater. This object is only available as WaterCooled condenser. You can incorporate multiple ChillerHeaters inside the object CentralHeatPumpSystem.

Personally, I have wanted an airsource chillerheater object, but it's not yet available in DesignBuilder. In later versions of EnergyPlus, there is this object, PlantEquipmentOperation:ChillerHeaterChangeover.
