hello, I have this detailed hvac system conformed of VAV with reheat systems for the air handling units and for the generation systems for heating and cooling air to water heat pumps. I would like to know which one of the templates for the detailed hvac of the baseline model would be the most appropiate and more similar to my system described? I asked this because design builder proposes system 8 which have chillers and a cooling tower that my proposed building doesn't have and ultimately, this affects the analysis leed that im working on

Hi, sorry in advance if I'm telling you something you already know.

First, check which version of LEED your project is (v4, v4.1, or v5). Under the Minimum Energy Performance credit in the LEED Reference Guide, it will reference a certain year of the ASHRAE 90.1 energy standard. In Appendix G of ASHRAE 90.1, there are a few tables (they're labeled differently in the different years of the standard) that details how to choose the baseline system based on building type/use, square footage, climate zone, etc.

Please respond if you have more detailed questions. Also, if you don't have access to the LEED Reference Guide or the ASHRAE 90.1 standard, you can let me know which version of LEED your project is using and I can screenshot the tables.

Hope that helps.
