I am using Sketchbox as a concept modeling tool. There results tab allows me to export an .xls results file, which includes tabs with different summary data. The monthly tab includes data broken out by end use (heat rejection, cooling, heating, etc.) but the hourly tab consists of total consumption only.

Is there a way to export more detailed hourly data from Sketchbox? I would like to export hourly data broken out be end use. I would also like to export hourly load data (i.e. BTU/hr cooling load rather than consumption). Does Sketchbox have this capability or do I need to use a more advanced energy modeling software?

If you’re looking for more detail than is provided in the Sketchbox output spreadsheet, I suggest opening up the model file(s) in eQuest 3.64. There you have full control to edit, run, and set up whatever hourly reports you want directly from eQuest. There will be one eQuest file per “shell” plus one just for exterior lighting loads, so this option works best for relatively simple buildings with a small number of shells. This also requires a “Standard” subscription to Sketchbox. If you have the Standard subscription there will be a Download Archive button next to the Download Results button which contains the eQuest files.
