Openstudio application 1.10 failed to start the measure manager

Hello,

I recently updated the OpenStudio application to version 1.10. However, after the installation, the application failed to start the Measure Manager, displaying a "timeout" error. I've attached a screenshot of the error for your reference.

Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar issue, happen just this week, on v 1.09 and then on v 1.10.

V1.09 worked fine as of Oct 8, 2025.

You may want to check your Windows update as well, as this might resolve the issue for you.

Hi, I found your post because I had just encountered (and resolved) the same issue with the same error message upon trying to open the application. Any chance your computer needs to be updated? I restarted and ran updates, and it works for me now!

It turns out Windows 25H2 was indeed causing the problem. I downloaded the "repair version" and my system is now back to normal. Thank you again for your help.
