EnergyPlus .idf Version Updater to 24.2
I am trying to update the DOE residential prototype building files (https://www.energycodes.gov/prototype...) from 23.1 to 24.2, and they are failing to convert
I have checked that the appropriate transition files ARE in the EP installation folder with all of the other transition files, and I have successfully converted the commercial prototype models to the latest version of EP. The Version updater tool will not let me change the New Version to 24.2. Is there a reason the residential files don't convert? And is there another way I can convert them?
What is the path to where EnergyPlus was installed? Is it possibly a very long path name or a name that includes special characters?

EnergyPlus is installed just in C:/
I updated the post with a snip of where the program is installed, and the folder with the transition files (since I can't seem to add the picture to this comment reply).
Does that folder have any files with an exe extension?
Yes, the folder does have .exe transition files as well.
I was just able to translate
"D:\temp\102601\US+MF+CZ8+elecres+unheatedbsmt+IECC_2018.idf"
that I downloaded from the site you referenced. It translated successfully and showed 23.1 -> 24.2
Sometimes long file paths can be a problem. Maybe move the file to c:\temp and try it again?
