If the materials are sandwiched, it is a simple matter of applying them in series on the Constructions tab. Then, assign the Construction to the appropriate Construction Set category (for example, Exterior Surface Constructions - Walls).
If your wall has different materials/constructions at different locations, you will need to use SketchUp to draw a dividing line on the wall. Alternately, you could create a very small jog in the wall using FloorSpaceJS. This would be the same as creating two different wall surfaces.
