@killposition: "Some differences in envelope but minor". From a modelling workload perspective, I wouldn't qualify these differences as minor. One significant change is the mandatory treatment of major thermal bridging in 90.1 2022 (e.g. slab intersections, balconies, fenestration perimeters), discussed halfway in this IBPSA-USA video. This may have slightly changed since the publication of Addendum av in 2022 (see p.14 for AppG requirements), but in a nutshell: AppG budget building models don't require major thermal bridging calculations (so that's easy), but proposed building models do. Requirements are somewhat different for ECB. In either case, there can be plenty of tedious (and error-prone) take-offs and pre-simulation accounting to do (depends on facade geometry). We put forth an OpenStudio measure to automate much of this. This should work just fine for AppG with OpenStudio models, EnergyPlus IDF files, and for any other package that can export to IFC or GBXML.

Of course this is a partial answer. Others may chime in on other 2013-vs-2022 differences.
