Disclaimer: I can't strongly enough recommend that users avoid the ERI calculation in BEopt 2.8. It is 10 years old and absolutely not reflective of ERI scores that would be calculated today -- partly due to subsequent changes to the ANSI 301 standard, and partly due to NREL interpretations of the standard that have been clarified in recent years.

That said, the answer is that "Case - 2" is the ERI Rated Home and "Case - 3" is the ERI Reference Home. You can verify this by comparing the XML files that are produced in the simulation temp directory.
