My suggestion for reducing cross-posing is to start directing to Unmet Hours from the DOE EnergyPlus User Support page, as well as the EnergyPlus Helpdesk page. I agree that UH is a superior format, but it's currently not as easily found from a google search for 'energyplus help' or 'energyplus support' as the Yahoo group.
