Are you planning to run one representative model or 85 separate models?

OpenStudio does not currently model solar thermal although there is a measure for solar electric. If you haven't already you may want to take a look at BEopt which also runs EnergyPlus and offers easy to use parametric and optimization options, but doesn't support solar thermal either. In either case you should be able to alter the resulting IDF for your purposes.

OpenStudio does not currently model solar thermal although there is a measure for solar electric. If you haven't already you may want to take a look at BEopt which also runs EnergyPlus and offers a quick and easy way to generate an IDF as well as easy to use parametric and optimization options, but doesn't support options for residential buildings.

Neither BEopt or OpenStudio currently model solar thermal either. although there is a measure for solar electric in OpenStudio. In either case you should be able to alter the resulting IDF for your purposes.

Neither BEopt or Currently OpenStudio currently does not model solar thermal although there is a measure for solar electric in OpenStudio electric. BEopt can model both solar thermal and BEopt has a PV option. PV. In either case you should be able to alter the resulting IDF for your purposes.
