If you didn't want to leave the openstudio application interface, you could use the AddOutputVariable measure which you can find under reporting QAQC measures. When you finish your simulation you can see all the available outputs for your model in the .rdd file which you can find at the run simulation tab==>Show Simulation. Copy the desired output's name and paste at your measure and you will be good to go
