Revision history [back]

There is a family of "create_bar" measures. While most of them take in one or more building types and create space types ratios based on the DOE or DEER prototypes. The version you refer to is a more customizable to allow users to provide a custom mix of space types from one or more building types. But like the others it is typically use with a measure prior to this one setting the climate zone, and one after to populate the stub geometry. What you are describing is expected, that coming out of this measure there are no constructions, schedules, loads, or for example SWH, exhaust, exterior lights, refrigeration, etc. The create_typical family of measures uses OpenStudio standards to populate the stub geometry.

Create bar from model is an exception where more geometry, load and construction inputs are harvested from the model passed in.
