Do you see any errors when you open the model? If you don't you may still want to try to run the diagnostic script anyway. Also more recently than that video I made a user script called "Move Selected Surfaces to a New Space" It replaces the cut/paste portion of the old manual method (see screenshot below). Try using that and see if you hit the same error. If you still do please email the model to OpenStudio@NREL.gov and we can figure out why it is happening.
