Subsurfaces tend to disappear if you draw them too close from one another, or if you draw one subsruface and then divide it in two or three etc.
I used to have this error while drawing window walls in my buildings. The solution was to leave a small space between one window and another, so they dont have common vertices, and they wouldn't dissapear anymore.
