So. Using the file at this link, I do see fluctuation in the value for snow depth (scroll down to January 2nd). The values seem to vary from 0-4. Unsure if these numbers are actually meaningful.

The days from last snow field seems to be garbage as I have 88 all the way through my New York City weather file as well.
