Better late than never.
I'm having a similar problem :instantiation of the server, check completed but I'm unable to reach the server. An IT guy just suggested me that our firewall is blocking the port 22 for ssh communication. Effectively, after using a hotspot cell phone connection (instead of the wired compagny intanet connection) we manage to reach the server.
