Revision history [back]

Yes, the values in this table include both sensible and latent cooling coil loads.

Just to be clear, 'Annual and Peak Values - Cooling' is a subtable of the Energy Meters (EnergyMeters) report, not ABUPS. Each of the row labels in this report is a meter name, for example CoolingCoils:PlantLoopCoolingDemand. The output variables which are connected to every meter are documented in the meter details (mtd) output file. For example, from the 5ZoneAirCooled example file:

For Meter=CoolingCoils:PlantLoopCoolingDemand [J], ResourceType=PlantLoopCoolingDemand, EndUse=CoolingCoils, contents are:
OA COOLING COIL 1:Cooling Coil Source Side Heat Transfer Energy
MAIN COOLING COIL 1:Cooling Coil Source Side Heat Transfer Energy

Output variables are defined in the Input Output Reference:

Cooling Coil Source Side Heat Transfer Energy [J] This is the energy extracted from the chilled water serving the coil, in Joules.

The important thing to understand is that this is the total load served by chilled water (only) cooling coils, so it includes sensible and latent plus other system effects such as fan heat, outdoor air loads, heat recovery etc.
