From what I can see in the above graphs Aaron is exactly right. The current version of DesignBuilder Results Viewer is not designed to read results from multiple EnergyPlus run periods and the spikes at the beginning of the result sets and the dates on the x-axis are caused by this. We have an enhancement on our development list to address this in a future release.

You will never see this behaviour when running the RV using DesignBuilder results for the reasons Aaron explains.

We have an enhancement on our development list to address this in a future release.
