Thank you for your reply. In case anyone later is interested, I have also found the following:
the original paper by Spitler for analytical validation http://rp.ashrae.biz/page/rp-1052.pdf
and the e+ idf files that correspond to each of them https://github.com/NREL/EnergyPlusValidationReports
I might approach GARD analytics and try to find the 1052-RP software, but the idf files are a good start by themselves.
