This was fixed in a newer version: https://github.com/NREL/OpenStudio/issues/1897.
The workaround is to change the unit preference in the app to SI. Or upgrade to the latest version.

The workaround is to first change the unit preference in the app to SI. SI, and the values should be retained. Or upgrade to the latest version.
