The loads are still there. If you go to the space type definitions, you'll see them there.

In OpenStudio 1.8.0 inherited data (like loads) would show up in the spaces tab in green text. That is the desired behavior in 1.9.0 as well, but frankly that feature didn't make it in before the design freeze. It will be added back in for 1.10.0 in December.

At present, users should be aware that any loads you drag in to the spaces tab will be applied in addition to the loads included as part of the assigned space type. Apologies for confusion and inconvenience!
