PNNL's Copper tool uses a library of performance curves to derive a curve set based on the user's target characteristics. The curve library "is a collection of performance curves from different sources, including publicly available resources such as the dataset included with EnergyPlus, performance curves generated from data obtained from manufacturer equipment selection software, and performance curves generated from manufacturer-published expanded performance data tables." Read more about it in the paper published at SimBuild 2024.
