There was a change in 2026 26.2.243 which broke compatibility with OpenStudio 1.11.0 and below. As Jospeh pointed out, there are 1.12.0 release candidates available for the OpenStudio Application and Plug-in which address this issue.

The BCL issue was also addressed in 1.12.0 as well as other new features including full internationalization of the OpenStudio Application.
