Have you gone through all your nodes and understood what is happening throughout your system? An assumption that a certain type of system is better just because is a dangerous assumption. My suggestion it to take out put your system nodes temperature and flow rates. Draw a diagram of your system tracing each component and each node. Then go node by node through the system (you can use eso viewer if you don't have anything else) to understand if there are temperature conflicts or suprising flow rates etc... These types of diagnostics help understand not only what the simulation is actually doing but also what it might do in real life when not controlled properly.
