Energyplus example file will give you two or three file with ICE thermal energy storage to get some idea. Also look for MLE+ and similar apps so that you can co-simulate Matlab and EP so get more options. This might also give you some help https://github.com/NREL/CampusEnergyModeling. I haven't tried PV myself in EP with any of these tools though.
