What I would do is, export your model to an idf file. Open it, and add a "Output:Diagnostic" object and set it to "DisplayExtraWarnings". Run the simulation and look at the ".err" file. It will tell which surfaces are degenerate. Then, go back to Sketchup or to your ".osm" file and delete them.
