You should be able to delete spaces in the OpenStudio SketchUp Plug-in using the SketchUp outliner tool (https://help.sketchup.com/en/sketchup/working-hierarchies-outliner).
You can also open the model in the OpenStudio Application and delete it on the Spaces tab.
