I searched in LEED and ASHRAE for some guidance to do the baseline building when the proposed model has only natural ventilation, but i haven't found some clarifying answers. Can anyone help? What is expected to do in baseline buildings when the design building has only natural ventilation? |

2020-01-16 04:54:29 -0500 | marked best answer | ASHRAE 90.1/2010 G3.1.3.12 Interpretation Hi, I'm new in energy modelling and I received a note from a energy model reviewer (LEED) regarding my Baseline energy model that is supposed to be in accordance with Section G3.1.3.12 ASHRAE 90.1/2010. The G3.1.3.12 says : Supply Air Temperature Reset (Systems 5 through 8). The air temperature for cooling shall be reset higher by 5°F under the minimum cooling load conditions. My baseline model is a system 7 and 8, and the building type is a full service restaurant. I had some doubts about the Section G3.1.3.12 interpretation, it's related to the setpoit manager? Can I use the setpoint manager warmest with the difference between minimum setpoint temperature and maximum setpoint temperature being 5°F? Any help is appreciated |
