I am using OS 2.6, We only have Humidifier:Steam:Electric and we have the Steam:gas under E+, What is the best workaround for adiabatic humidifier?? And I am also wondering what is the difficulty that adiabatic humidifiers have never added to E+, from what I see it's only a psychometric solver that already exists within the Energyplus?? |

2016-05-17 18:22:25 -0500 | marked best answer | Outside Convection coefficient in EnergyPlus Hi I defined the outside face convection coefficient as an output. I see in some hours during the simulation, this coefficient is 1000 !!! How is that possible? And also in general , which method is more accurate? Because I changed the SurfaceConvectionAlgorithm:Outside from DOE-2 to AdaptiveConvectionAlgorithm and saw a significant difference in one of my outputs. |
2016-04-25 02:50:22 -0500 | asked a question | Warehouse simulation considerations I am going perform an energy simulation for a warehouse with the height of around 14 m. Since there will be stratification , I was thinking to divide it to two zone, with an air wall at around 3m height. ( which is horizontall). since I also have skylights and dimming control, I am wondering if the air wall is a good option or not? |

2016-04-20 17:00:05 -0500 | asked a question | Running EnergyPlus from command line I have always used EP-launch for running my simulations, no I need to run it from command prompt in windows. So I read the auxiliary programs pdf which says: ".... In the same directory EnergyPlus expects in.idf, the input data file; Energy+.idd, the data dictionary file; in.epw, the weather file (needed only if there is a RunPeriod in the input); and optionally Energy+.ini, the initialization file." But I have only Energy+.idd file in C:\Energyplus 8-4-0 directory. where should I find in.idf , in.epw and Energy+.ini? Thanks |
