Why does my Openstudio crashes when I open it from it program or go thru sketchup 2017 Greeting to All, My file keep cr

I am trying to clear some simulation errors using the search surface tool. When I search for a surface, lets say, Surface 4. The results after hitting Search Entire Model reveals many surface across many zones. Then, I open the Inspector tool and search for Surface 4 under OpenStudio Geometry - Surface I get one surface. Can I use the Surface Search tool to search for Surface 4, and use the Inspector tool to identify which surface is Surface 4, then delete all the other surfaces in hopes of clearing loose surfaces?

I have OpenStudio open from Sketchup 2014. When I am finished in OpenStudio, I will save and exit. Then, I will exist Sketchup 2014. When I go back to my model on the next day, I open up Sketchup 2014, select my model through the OpenStudio file-open icon, then launch OpenStudio through Sketchup 2014. After OpenStudio open I will select File, then Open to open the OpenStudio data file. When the file open I find out the data I inputed the day before is not there. What up with that? Please help, James.
