I have received an Architect's sketchup model and would like to see if I can covert it into an osm file. I believe there is a script available that would allow it Could anyone let me know if they have done it before and what would be the procedure?

I am trying to model f-factor from ASHRAE 90.1 into OpenStudio.

According to the construction tab it looks as though I will need to input every floor area and perimeter associated with every slab on grade in my model. Surely there is another way. Any idea?

Heat is taken from or rejected to the air from the source side and the heat pump is connected to an hydronic circuit on the building side.

It's actually air to water. Does this still apply?

I would be interested in Commercial type Air to water for a commercial building.

I seeking for an excel spreadsheet that calculate biquadratic equation coefficients given an array of air temperature, water conditions, capaicities and COPs. This is to input into the Energyplus curve table.

Thanks David, So if I hear you correctly it is only in the IDF editor environment that I can bring in or change constructions, schedules, etc...It used to be easier with the older open studio version were you were bale to import templates right from the start of using sketchup. I can't believe this has disappear from the new plugin. Unless I misunderstand your comments.

I found hard to estimate a correct infiltration rate in energyplus. The heating load results are such dependant on those rates that I am not sure what to use. Following the guide, there are some suggestion as to what number to use for coefficient such as wind speed, etc...I am used to work it out based on air change rate (1 ac/h would be a leaky building and 0.25 a tight one). Some have used 0.05cfm/ft2 of exterior wall. Others would assume a 10 feet zone around the building perimeter with 1 ac/h. Could someone have an insight of a correct method?

I have been working on sketch 8 and open studio legacy plugin and could not find a way to bring in pre-defined templates for schedules and constructions. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
