2023-12-20 07:23:16 -0500 marked best answer Incident solar diffuse radiation on the floor

Is there any way to find out the amount transmitted solar diffuse radiation on the floor? or total radiation incident on the floor? energyplus has this output for beam radiation:

Surface Inside Face Exterior Windows Incident Beam Solar Radiation Rate per Area

but I cant find same thing for incident solar diffuse radiation on the floor or total incident solar radiation on the floor.

the Surface Inside Face Initial Transmitted Diffuse Absorbed Solar Radiation Rate calculate solar diffuse radiation absorbed by floor and that isn't my point.

Sincerely Taher

I have a model with different types of surfaces. I've utilized Adaptive Convection Algorithm to model inside and outside convection coefficient. I want to check which algorithm is used for each surface. Is there any way?

I read engineering references but My model has more than 100 surface I don't want to test one by one.

2018-12-30 03:38:52 -0500 marked best answer How to simulate hot water pipes heating system?

I'm going to simulate a greenhouse heating pipe system in EnergyPlus that contains boilers, Pumps and pipes.

Boilers heat the water then Pumps circulate the water through the pipes that have been placed in the greenhouse to warm the zone.

Pipes are shown in the picture below.

I have simulated pumps and boilers and all branches by Plantloop object but what I wasn't able to simulate was pipes that heated the zone.

I've used ZoneHVAC:Baseboard:Convective:Water instead of pipes to Complete the loop.

How can I use pipes instead of baseboard? is there any way?

We know that each ZoneTimeStep maybe consists of some SystemTimeStep. I want to sum a special variable over all SystemTimeSteps at a ZoneTimeStep and then report it as schedule. The @TrendSum function just provide sum of variables for several ZoneTimeSteps not for SystemTimeStep.
