Do you know of any other efforts similar to this or any other packages that take a stab at being able to do this type of simulation? |

2014-12-08 10:33:53 -0500 | answered a question | Wall flying every where Well I think the quickest way to fix your problem is to double click into a specific zone so that you can edit the geometry. Then select the entire detached surfaces per zone. Next use the move tool to move your selected surfaces an place them exactly where they should be on the specific zone. You might want to use the Hide Rest of Model Icon to isolate the specific zone you are working on. Please let me know if you need more clarification on how to do this and i can probably put something together for you to give more detail instructions. I think this might be the easiest way to correct your issue rather than redo any of the geometry. Also I have only had this type of issue and know of others who have only seen this issue when drawing windows into a zone on an individual basis. I am not sure if you are drawing each window individually into each zone but if you are I really recommended projecting the SketchUp geometry to create windows. Its not only faster but you avoid a lot of geometry frustrations. |

2014-12-05 12:21:25 -0500 | commented question | Wall flying every where just curious are you having the issue with Legacy OpenStudio or the OpenStudio 1.5.0 plugin? I ask because when I use to do all my geometry on very large buildings and started to add windows many weird things would happen to my geometry as well as a substantial slow down of SketchUp. |

2014-11-21 10:10:48 -0500 | commented answer | Sketchup 2015 and Open Studio 1.5 Any word on that release of an OpenStudio version that will be compatible with SketchUp 2015 and is 64-bit? I just downloaded OpenStudio 1.5.3 thinking this was going to be work but instead got the following error message: 32-bit OpenStudio is incompatible with 64-bit SketchUp 2015. The OpenStudio SketchUp Plug-in will not be installed. Any helpful input will be greatly appreciated! |
