2017-03-08 14:53:18 -0500 | commented answer | legacy OS plug in cannot save .osm Thanks Julien, I have spent 2 days and still cannot get ride of installation issues with OS. 1- OS installation instruction asks for Sketchup 2016 which is no longer available from sketch up website. 2- When I installed sketch up 2017, it automatically uploaded legacy plugin which I wasnt able to save with it in any format. 3- Tried installing version 32 bit for both sketchup and OS and got this error: Error: Unable to find valid executable while creating local process: C:/program files/Open Studio 1.14.0/ruby-install/ruby/bin\ruby.exe |

2017-03-07 19:01:36 -0500 | asked a question | legacy OS plug in cannot save .osm I am new to OS and just downloaded the legacy plugin and I was following the NREL tutorials. I tried to save my file in sketchup and open it in open studio. The file is saved as .FILE and OS doesn't recognise it. When i manually saved it with .osm (for instance like : ExampleBuilding.osm), open studio couldn't open it. Any comments? |

2016-10-24 15:24:06 -0500 | asked a question | Does anyone know where can I find Openstudio solved examples to get confidence in the software results? I am switching from Carrier HAP to Openstudio for Energy modelling. I understand the basic modelling procedure in Openstudio but cannot yet trust the results I am getting. If there was a solved bench mark example that could allow us verify our modelling, that could be helpful. |
