2016-12-13 01:18:56 -0500 asked a question Transmission losses very low using design builder

I am simulating a single family house with roof the losses are low i compared with calculated results with same u-values. external wall u-value 0.24 and total heating demand for 156m² is only 17kWh/m². what could be the mistake? your help is highly appreciated

When i choose internal source i can place the heating pipes after the first layer but i want the pipes embeded within the second layer. How?

2016-10-20 07:06:09 -0500 commented answer Heating/cooling when out of the interval of acceptable temperatures

But that only stops cooling and doesn't allow a range for heating so it will heat when ever the temp. is less than heating set point what if I want to maintain a room temp. of 22 to 25°C how to set the limit

Thank you very much your comment is right but am still getting errors any idea why?

2016-10-18 04:21:47 -0500 answered a question I have set the heating setpoint to 26°C yet when I simulate it stops at 20°C in designbuilder

I changed to simple HVAC data and it works now

2016-10-18 02:06:39 -0500 asked a question I have set the heating setpoint to 26°C yet when I simulate it stops at 20°C in designbuilder

The system strats at 0°C and continues heating until 20 not 26 the setback temperature is also 26 as i didn't include an occupancy schedule
