2016-10-03 10:57:56 -0500 | asked a question | Export and plot zone air temperature in excel Hi. I've ran a 1-year simulation. I'd like from the OS experts to show an easiest way to export specific data (for example zone air temperature) for the whole time range to an excel file or how to retrieve them form Matlab. Sorry. I'm just a beginner. A video or an easy-to-follow steps would appreciable. Thanks |

2016-10-03 01:11:45 -0500 | commented question | house modelling - Multi-Rooms Thanks David for the advice, but I finally managed to sort my problem out. I forgot to add a diffuser (Air Terminal Single Duct element) for each of the thermal zones my loop. Another question for you. How can I export simulation results to Excel ? |
2016-10-02 01:55:14 -0500 | asked a question | house modelling - Multi-Rooms I've created a sketchup model geometry of a house that has kitchen, living room and several rooms and spaces. When I assign a single thermal zone for the whole house, the simulation runs perfectly; but when I assign several thermal zones for the different spaces, the simulation crashes. Can I anyone advise me how to proceed ? |

2016-09-07 11:56:49 -0500 | asked a question | OpenStudio plug-in for Sketchup - Create spaces from a diagram Hi. I'm running an Openstudio 1.12 plug-in with Sketchup2016. I'm trying to simulate a house energy consumption and I draw it in sketchup in 3D. Do I have to draw the walls with their respective thicknesses or is there a way to specify these instead of drawing them. Thanks. |
