I have uninstalled BEOpt, OpenStudio and and E+. Then reinstalled BEOpt with the same result. I can conclude the software doesn't work. I had a lot of problems with OpenStudio also, leading me to conclude E+ was the problem. Maybe someone knows. Maybe not.
