2016-05-05 12:44:09 -0500 | asked a question | It is possible to use the site:groundDomain:Slab with the HAMT? I have used the site:groundDomain:slab and basement with the CTF algorithm and I had no problems, but when I try to use the HAMT algorithm the model stops and shows the following message: * Severe * Site:GroundDomain:SlabDoEndOfIterationOperations: Out of range temperatures detected in the ground domain. * ~~~ * This could be due to the size of the loads on the domain. * ~~~ * Verify inputs are correct. If problem persists, notify EnergyPlus support. What can I do to solve this problem? |

2016-03-13 00:29:07 -0500 | asked a question | Can I control the indoor temperature without latent energy demands? I am running a model with ideal air loads controlling only the temperature setpoints, but I was getting latent cooling loads even though I have not set any humidity limits. I need to define a temperature range and check its effect on the energy consumption and in the relative humidity, but without affecting the humidity ratio. Is this possible? |
