2019-04-09 09:48:41 -0500 | marked best answer | Basic Envelope Change results in opposite EUI results of those expected This is a very basic question. I have two OpenStudio files. The only difference is one wall construction with a higher R value between the two. After running the simulation, the file with the higher R value in an exterior wall has returned a higher EUI. I can't find the issue. Any ideas? I have a link to Dropbox below. The Alt file has the improved Envelope. |

2016-02-19 10:12:55 -0500 | commented answer | I can't get a Service Hot Water Plant Loop to Run. I am using 1.10.0. And it does sound the like the same type of issue. What is odd, is the same system will work in a simple model that I set up. |
2016-02-19 09:30:38 -0500 | commented answer | I can't get a Service Hot Water Plant Loop to Run. Is there anyway to open my OS file in an earlier version? I built the model using 1.10. Or is there anyone out there able to look at my OS file and see if there is something I am missing? @macumber, @David Goldwasser |

2016-02-18 16:47:55 -0500 | commented answer | I can't get a Service Hot Water Plant Loop to Run. I have added the name in the EP idf editor and then run the simulation in EP and it runs through no problem. Must be an OS bug? |
2016-02-18 08:53:25 -0500 | commented answer | I can't get a Service Hot Water Plant Loop to Run. I have entered the missing name in to the idf file. When I re-open Open Studio the new schedule is there. However, when I run the simulation, the schedule is lost again. I think there may be a bug with OS. Any suggestions? |

2016-02-17 16:43:01 -0500 | asked a question | I can't get a Service Hot Water Plant Loop to Run. I have been working at this for 2 days, although admittedly am a rookie at using this program. I have setup a hot service loop but continue to get this error: I have modeled the same loop in a simple single space/zone model and it works no problem. Any help will be appreciated. Mark |
