Hi everyone, I'm using EnergyPlus. I've designed 6 floors building and so many zones and I'm using 3 templates in separately simulation, such as ideal load system template, unitary system template, and VAV system template. I set zone heating setpoint off and zone cooling setpoint for 24C at HVACTemplate:Thermostat (just for cooling and no heating).

My question is : Is there any standard that used for each template (ideal load system template, unitary system template, and VAV system template)? Like ASHRAE standard or anything but different for each template.

I think the problem is about schedule compact that I have made. What value should I fill below the time in schedule compact? 24 or 1?

When I change cooling design supply air temperature from 12,8C to 34,6C, Its still coming error.

The problem is I've designed this zone just for cooling and no heating so zone heating setpoint is off. I set zone cooling setpoint for 24C.

Hi everyone, I'm using energyplus dan I have a problem when using unitary system template. I see just 0,00 at cooling load, calculated and user design load at output result. I'm not using for heating, just for cooling and cooling setpoint is 24C. Please see my attachment file. What should I change in idf file in order to get cooling load at the output result?

Hi everyone, I'm sorry if my question is very simple but I don't know. I'm still a newbie.

I have read in this forum the different between conditioned and unconditioned zone is about thermostat. So when in sketchup, I click 'set attributes for selected space' and set yes in set parent thermal zone's - ideal load air system and set one of available choice for conditioned and <clear field=""> for unconditioned in set parent thermal zone's - thermostat.

But when I export to IDF file and then open with IDF Editor, see HVACTemplateZone:IdealLoadAirSystem, I just see unconditioned zone. I need conditioned and unconditioned here. What should I do? Thanks

How about when do you want to set a zone as unconditioned in energyplus (IDF-Editor) or can I set a zone as unconditioned when drawing in SketchUp? What make different between conditioned and unconditioned zone? Thank you
