Compliance model lighting takeoff

There's got to be a better way - than counting light fixtures, calculating their power and assigning that power to a specific zone.

I'm doing that for a project in which the lighting designer has picked 60 different lighting fixtures for indoors and 20 for outdoors - for only 30 or so zones. It's painfully slow!

Do you have any recommendations for making that process faster? We don't use REVIT, but I'm imagining that REVIT might have a way to tally lights by room or zone.... If so, We could ask the design firm to run a report...
