Heat Pump DHW Unexpected Results

I am modeling heat pump domestic hot water systems in comparison to an electric resistance baseline and I am getting unexpectedly high consumption of the heat pump system (higher annual consumption than the electric resistance system.

I have attempted to keep inputs as similar as possible between the baseline and heat pump models.

Any ideas why the heat pump system is using so much energy, or advice on how to investigate where my inputs may need to be adjusted.

Thanks for any advice!
