How can I modify the source code of E+ to allow shading control to be such as fractions (instead of shades being either fully closed or fully open)?

I want to modify the source code of E+ to allow shading control to be such as fractions (instead of shades being either fully closed or fully open). It will influence the solar radiation transmitted to the zone through the window. I'm wondering if there is someone who had worked on that (so may be I can use his code if it's possible) or if someone would help me with that (I've already did some modifications on the source code but I am not sure that it works as I expect). Thank you!
