cooling coil outlet abrupt variation

Good afternoon, I am simulating a Data center conditioning in energy plus, that consists basically in a water cooling coil and a heating electric coil. The timestep simulated is a minute and the problem i found is that the wetted area, or cooling coil outlet temperature varies abruptly from one time step to another. As an example the wetted surface varies from 0.0098 to 0.83 leading to temperature outlet temperature variation from 25.8 to 13.5. This seems unreallistic, is it posible to smooth these transitinos? Thank you
