Some upgrade options aren't compatible with ResStock?

Context:

  • Using Parametric Analysis Tool to run analyses using project_singlefamilydetached from the ResStock project
  • Working with solely the Alpena, MI area, so location is fixed
  • Other Apply Upgrade options have worked, such as "Propane Furnace, 80% AFUE" or "GSHP"

When I run a simulation with an upgrade, I have always looked to the options_lookup.tsv file and used the options listed there. This method has always worked out, up until recently--when I attempted to run a simulation with the "HVAC System Heating Wood|Wood Stove" upgrade, it resulted in a datapoint failure.

I haven't had this happened before, which is why I'm asking: are some upgrades listed in options_lookup.tsv incompatible with project_singlefamilydetached? And if so, how do I determine which ones do work versus ones that don't work? Or are there certain characteristics of how I set up PAT that might result in this particular upgrade to result in failure?

Last note: Besides the input into "Apply Upgrade", no other changes are made when running a simulation. In other words, if I run PAT tool again, but with "GSHP" instead for instance instead, successful results will be produced.
