So I've been trying to design 100% outside air systems for lab/office mixed use buildings on energypro 6&7 now for the last couple years and every time I run these projects, it seems like we get over-penalized on indoor fan use. So I took this to the local utility and they claimed through a third party energy consultant that they work with that Energypro is not capable of accurately modeling a 100% outside air system for the baseline case. Is that true? Anyone have any experience in this arena? The utility's advice was to just use IES VE to model these types of projects going forward using the Title 24 SBD module.
Any further advice or insight would be appreciated.
