So, I found three BCL measures to do with WSHP. They more or less seem to do the same thing. A "Heat Pump Loop" and a "HVAC" loop are created.
On the former, there are a boiler and a cooling tower on the supply side, and an OS:Coil:Cooling:WaterToAirHeatPump:EquationFit and an OS:Coil:Heating:WaterToAirHeatPump:EquationFit on the demand side.
On the latter, there are a DOAS, a OS:Coil:Cooling:DX:SingleSpeed, an OS:Coil:Heating:Gas and a fan on the supply side and of course the zone "stuff" on the demand side.
I suppose the OS:Coil:Cooling:WaterToAirHeatPump:EquationFit and OS:Coil:Heating:WaterToAirHeatPump:EquationFit from the "Heat Pump Loop" somehow are to drive the OS:Coil:Cooling:DX:SingleSpeed and OS:Coil:Heating:Gas of the "HVAC" loop? But I do not see how that connection is made?
Also, shouldn't the OS:Coil:Cooling:DX:SingleSpeed on the "HVAC" loop really be a OS:Coil:"Cooling&Heating":DX:SingleSpeed, if there were such, and the OS:Coil:Cooling:WaterToAirHeatPump:EquationFit and OS:Coil:Heating:WaterToAirHeatPump:EquationFit should then drive that, while the OS:Coil:Heating:Gas is really just auxiliary?
I'd appreciate any insight.
